Back to France Again

Train map of Switzerland. We started at Locarno at the bottom and arrived at Basel at the top left which is on the french border and where we will switch to a french train.

We now returned to our train journey as we traveled through Switzerland through the Alps and the fields to the far side of the country. The weather wasn’t rainy but as we moved along there were patches of low clouds. It is hard to take photos from a moving train but I managed to get a few of the countryside as we went along.

It was hard to capture the beauty as we were hurtling through the mountains on a fast train but it was worth the trip. Much of the landscape was similar to crossing the Cascades with waterfalls frequently falling down rock cliffs.

However, at the end of it, we were in Basel and ready to hop on to the french train to take us to our next adventure in France.
